U.S. Consulate General Kolkata's Interactive Information Session On Visa, In Imphal (Manipur)
Officials from the U.S. Consulate General, Kolkata visited Imphal, Manipur, from July 29 to 31, 2013, to provide information on U.S. visa procedures.
The visiting Consular team hosted public information sessions on the requirements to apply for U.S. visas. The sessions covered non-immigrant tourist and student visas. Approximately 300 students attended the U.S. visa information sessions hosted at the Manipur University, Mega Manipur School and Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Sciences. Attendees learnt about eligibility criteria for the above mentioned visas to the United States and received information about application procedures
