A mass rally was organised on October 19 2010 at the Senapati district head quarter organised by the Naga Peoples' Organisation under the aegis of the United Naga Council demanding the Goverment of India for an "Alternative Arrangement" for the Nagas in the district and as a mark of severing political tie with the Government of Manipur.
