Protest demonstrations were staged at different schools (Ibotonsana School, Millenium school ) on July 28 and July 29 2013 to denounce grant of bail to those individuals who are accused of being involved in drug smuggling under the aegis of Students' League Manipur
The demonstrators put up banners voicing strong opposition against granting bail to the drug smuggling accused, charged Indian army of encouraging illegal drug trade as well as demanded punitive action against the Home Minister and the Investigating Officer (IO) concerned in the drug smuggling cases.
