12-hour (dawn to dusk) statewide general strike affected normal life in the State of Manipur on 4th February 2015.
The strike was called by United Committee Manipur (UCM) as part of extending support to the ongoing indefinite bandh along Imphal-Moreh route over the frequent harassment of villagers besides imposing restriction to their free movement by troops 24 Assam Rifles deployed along the Tengnoupal sector of the highway.
