Protesting against the Khwairamband blast on March 11 along with various other demands, women folks of Khwairamband Market marched towards Chief Minister's Bungalow on March 17 2015.
However police personnel forced to reverse the women agitators from the gate of Kangla Fort.
The women protestors raised slogans such as "Don't make Khwairamband Market a war zone,' 'Give compensation to the blast victim and its family,' 'Implement ILP system,' 'Withdraw Manipur Regulations of Visitors, Tenants and Migrants Workers (MRVT&MW) Bill 2015,' "Stop demolishing temporary market shed," etc.
