Mera Men Tongba and Yenkhong Tamba : Mera Houchongba, A special Festival that carries the bond of love between the hill and plain people of Manipur being celebrated at Kangla on October 05 2017 . This State Level Program is organized by Mera Houchongba Committee (Kangla Fort Board, Sana Konung and Sanamahi Temple Board) under the aegis of Manipur Government
During a grand celebration vegetables, fruits, eatables and sweetmeats were distributed and exchanged among hill and valley people after offering it traditionally to titular King Leishemba Sanajaoba.
Mera Hou Chongba festival is one of the only festival that keeps alive the ties between different people living in Manipur.
