YUC beat SFC to stretch winning streak at IW 2nd Division League

Imphal, October 26 2019: YUC, Meijrao staged a late comeback to win 2-1 over SFC, Tera in today's match of the ongoing 9th K Karnajit Memorial Second Division Football League Tournament organised by Imphal West District Football Association at YWC, Malom ground.

YUC had a poor start to game and SFC took advantage of a defensive lapse to go ahead in the 28th minute with Th Chinglemba taking the strike.

Despite chances YUC trailed in the first half and the game almost looked to end in SFC's favour but Stelin's goal in the 72nd minute helped YUC return to the contest.

The contest was wide open after the equaliser and consistent YUC were rewarded in the 79th minute when Indranath found the back of the net giving SFC no much time to bounce back into the game.

Eventually YUC finished the game 2-1 and earned their 4th consecutive win in the tournament to spice up their campaign for pole position.

IFC, Lamphel will meet SDC, Samurou in the next match of the tournament tomorrow at 2.30 pm .
