State body building team return with 5 medals

Thoubal, September 25 2019: The team of Manipur Amateur Body Builders' Association (MABBA) brought home 5 medals from the National Federation Cup Body Building Championship hosted by Chhattisgarh Amateur Bodybuilder Association at Raipur on September 22.Soraisham Priyanka of KBB Gym earned a gold medal in medium group competition and fetched "Most Muscular" title before winning a bronze medal for the State in the men's open physique event.

Maibam Ronald of Lifestyle Gym Sangaiprou bagged a silver in the medium group and Khangembam Somananda of Lamyanba Gym, Yairipok Top Chingtha earned Manipur another gold medal tall group category.

The team led by RK Harshyam and Th Rajiv as manager and coach were accorded a warm welcome at the Imphal International Airport yesterday, as per a press statement of Manipur Amateur Body Builders' Association.
