FC Kumbi win 2-1 in Moirang 1st Divn League

Imphal, October 23 2019: FC Kumbi registered a 2-1 win against SYC, Sagang for their second win in Group A competition of the 1st L Kerani Memorial 1st Divn League being organised by District Football Association Moirang at Moirang Multipurpose Ground.

FC Kumbi which sealed a 1-0 win against AKSA, Kwakta in their opening fixture made the most of today's possession and lead the first half 1-0 with P Ronaldo scoring the opener in the 11th minute of the match.

Their dominance continued in the second half as well and it was Kh Yaiphaba who doubled the advantage in the 44th minute as SYC struggled to put themselves together.

SYC however grabbed the consolation goal in the 70th minute when ST Thangboi converted a chance.

However their effort to draw level did not materialise and eventually FC Kumbi went home 2-1 .
