DSA Chandel celebrates AFC Grassroots Day

Imphal, May 15 2022: District Sports Association, Chandel on Sunday celebrated AFC Grassroots Day at Shallom English Academy (SEA), Pallel.

According to a press release of the Chandel sports body, the programme encouraged young children to learn about football and human values and to enjoy the game as much as possible.

The main goal of the grassroots initiative is to get as many people as possible involved in the game, instil human values, above all to bring enjoyment to youngsters simply by letting them take part.

The grassroots football offers fun and enjoyment.

Football is the main source of pleasure for many children and it offers them a means of making friends and expressing themselves.

More than 70 young Children took part at the event, DSA Chandel executives Th Joyshing Monsang, assistant secretary, TS Behriim, treasurer, W Kelly Monsang, executive member, and Mowarning Sumpi, match commissioner, attended the programme under the supervision of DSA Chandel president TS Chamna Anal.
