Senapati, October 14 2024: The 2nd Edition of the Women's Premier League organised by Senapati District Olympic Association Manipur (SDOAM) under the sponsorship of Assam Rifles, concluded on Monday with Range Rover FC clinching the title after thrilling victory over Senapati FC.

The league had commenced on October 10.By sponsoring the women's league, Assam Rifles reaffirmed its commitment to empowerment of women through sports.

Their con tinued support highlights the critical role that sports play in fostering unity, de termination, and breaking barriers for women athletes.

Through the sponsorship, the Assam Rifles paved the way for young women in Senapati district to pursue their dreams on and off the field, giving them the opportunity to shine on a grand platform.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, 16 Assam Rifles commandant expressed pride in being part of the initiative as the women's league is more than just a competition but celebration of women's resilience and potential.

The commandant stated that 16 Assam Rifles is honoured to have supported the endeavour and look forward to witnessing even more milestones in the future.

SDOAM also extended gratitude to all participants, teams, and supporters who made the event possible.

The Golden Glove award was presented to Beveinai of Senapati FC, Golden Boot to Monogthem Kim of Range Rover, and the Golden Ball to Cecilia of Senapati FC .
