Bpr Super Divn League : Damneireng scores brace in NCYWO's 3-2 over LASHAL

Imphal, September 14 2022: Damneireng scored a brace as NCYWO- Nungsai Chiru overcame LASHAL-Leimapokpam 3-2 in a keenly contested Thokchom Ibopishak Singh Memorial Super Division Football league match at Mini Stadium Bishnupur.

LASHAL enjoyed and were leading 1-0 till 39th minute with O Roshan opening the account early in the 7th minute.

Damneireng however drew level in the 40th minute before completing the turnaround 2 minutes into the added time of the first half (45+2') .

After the restart, R Jinmeilen scored for NCYWO to extend the lead to 3-1 after 68 minutes but LASHAL fought back and reduced the margin through H Jotin's goal in the 79th minute.

NCYWO defenders however stood like a wall in the late stages to make sure their lead remained intact till the final whistle and earned their team's third win in as many as six matches.
