Manipur clinch 5 gold at Nat'l Aerobic Gymnastics

Imphal, January 14 2025: Manipur ended their campaign with five gold and two bronze medals at the National Aerobic Gymnastics Championship 2024-25, which concluded on January 13, 2025 at New Indoor Stadium, MA Stadium, Jammu.

Ariha Pangambam, Okram Umajit Singh and Mutum Romesh Singh each claimed a gold medal in individual events, while other two gold medals were collected in mixed pair and trio events.

Ariha won the gold medal in the senior women's individual event, Umajit took the top podium honour in the senior men's individual event, and Romesh earned his yellow metal in junior men's individual event.

Further bolstering their performance, Manipur's athletes also triumphed in the mixed pair and trio events.

Romesh Singh paired with Rk Thoithoilembi to secure gold in the mixed pair event, while Anjori Pangambam, Mutum Romesh Singh, and Rk Thoithoilembi clinched the gold in the trio event.

Additionally, Anjori Pangambam earned a bronze medal in the junior women's individual event, and another team consisting of Ariha Pangambam, Okram Umajit Singh and H Jesika Devi took bronze in the senior trio event.
