YWC thump RCA by 83 runs to win MNCA Superplate Tournament

YWC (Langthabal) outclassed RCA (Lilong) by 83 runs in the final of the 4th MNCA Superplate Tournament 2024-25 at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal, on Thursday.
Opting to bat first, YWC were dismissed for 182 runs in 34.1 overs, with notable contributions from Seram Robinson (28), Maibam Subash (24), Soubam Robinson (19), Ngangbam Bingson (19), Pukhrambam Prashantamani (14), and Ngangbam Bishwash (10) .
For RCA, Danish Khan was the standout bowler, claiming 4 wickets, while Zamir Khan took 3, Illiyas captured 2, and Zuned added 1.In response, RCA struggled to cope with the pressure and were bowled out for just 99 runs in 32.5 overs.
Yenshenbam Vivek was the pick of YWC's bowlers, finishing with 4 wickets, while Maibam Subash and Yunam Chingkheinganba took 2 wickets each.
Hishnam Manikanta and Soubam Robinson also contributed with a wicket each, ensuring a comprehensive victory for YWC.
For RCA, Nasirshah Alam (32 not out) and Syed Hussain (27) were the only significant contributors in their disappointing chase.
As champions, YWC earned a prize money of Rs 1,50,000, while RCA received Rs 1,00,000 .
Individual accolades included Zamir Khan of RCA, who was named both the man of the series and the highest wicket-taker, Jay Singh of RULE, who was the highest run-scorer, and YWC's Vivek Singh, who was declared man of the final match.
