LYSSU, LCDC in 31st Langthabal Kendra Football semi-finals

Imphal, January 08 2020: LYSSU and LCDC made themselves to the semi-finals of the 31st Langthabal Kendra Football Tournament being organised by Chajing Inat Kanba Lup (CHIKL) at Chajing playground.

LYSSU emerged group A winners today to book the semi-final berth by beating CYDOL 2-1 today in the last Group A league match.

Azet Wahengbam was the highlight of the match as he sealed the comeback win with by scoring a brace in the 35th and the 38th minute after Ramananda goal (17') had handed CYDOL a narrow 1-0 lead till the break.

Meanwhile LCDC topped Group B after trouncing UC by 8-1 goals today.

They shared same point with NSFC in the same group having played out a 1-1 draw earlier with the latter team but today's goals helped them earn the semi-final spot with a total of 9 goals in their names against NSFC's total 7.S Dinesh (14', 44'), S Sunderjit (39', 49') and S Netrajit (42', 48') scored two goals each for LCDC while S Bharat and S Naoba added a goal each respectively in the 28th and the 33rd minute after Mani pulled back a goal for UC in the 24th minute.

YCGC will play MC in the last Group C league match tomorrow.
