Nongthang crowned overall champion of Inter College Best Physique Competition

Imphal, December 06 2024: Leimajam Nongthang from Western College, Konthoujam was crowned the overall champion of the N Surendra Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Best Physique (Male) Competition 2024-2025, organised by Standard College, Kongba, Imphal East, at Auditorium Hall, Standard College, Kongba on Friday.

Nongthang secured the overall title by dominating the 80kg category, outshining a strong field of competitors.

Naorem Joykumar Singh of KP College, Hiyangthang, earned second place, while Yumnam Ningthungba Singh of Regional College, Chajing, rounded out the top three.

Among the top finishers in other categories included Sanjenbam Kunjalemba (NG College) in the 60kg category, Pritam Nahakpam (Moirang College) in 65kg, Phandom Arun Meetei (NG Mani College) in 70kg, Thokchom Yaisana Meitei (Standard College) in 75kg, and Chandam Kangleinganba Khuman (NG Mani College) in 90kg.NG Mani College, Khurai, accumulated 10 points to claim the overall team title, edging out Western College, Konthoujam, who secured 9 points to finish as runners-up.
