PFA, GFC, PSS cruise in BK 5-a-side football tournament

Imphal, July 03 2022: Pakhangba FA, Golden FC and Poloi SS enjoyed easy wins in the 1st Basanta Kumar Memorial 5-a-side Football Tournament 2022 at Chingarel Tepur on Sunday.

Pakhangba FA started the day with a 5-1 drubbing of Hiyai FA.

Yaiphaba scored a hat-trick (3', 15', 21') and Suman (33') and Univash (42') also got on the scoresheet.

Hiyai FA got their consolation goal through Luxmikanta.

Golden FC, meanwhile, overpowered Bung FC 12-0 .

Dabit led the rout, racking up six goals as Golden grabbed a treble and Jack netted a double, with Lanchenba chipping in with one goal to steer their side to an emphatic victory.

Poloi SS too enjoyed an easy day with a 6-0 rout of ESU.

Island scored a hat- trick as Langamba, Devit and Naoba contributed one goal in their thumping win.
