Physically Challenged Sports Meet ends

The two day State Level Physically Challenged Sports Meet 2018 organised by All Manipur Disables and Handicapped Person Association at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium concluded today.
Altogether 150 differently-abled persons from Churachandpur, Sadar Hills, Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal and Ukhnil districts participated in this sports meet.
In today's CP (cerebral palsy) (lower) 50 m race, Ng Wanglen of Imphal East clocked 8.15 seconds to finish first while Paulginthang (8.53 sec) and Paominlun (9.81 sec) of Churachandpur claimed the second and the third position.
In the CP (upper) 50 m race, Bahuddin of Thoubal finished the course in 7.41 seconds to claim the first position while Th Ranbir of Thoubal and Ng Wanglen of Imphal East finished second and third.
In CP (lower) 100 m race, Ng Wanglen of Imphal East finished the course in 15.21 to emerge first while Paulginthang and Paominlun of Churachandpur also claimed the second and the third position respectively.
Bahuddin of Thoubal finished first in the CP (upper)
dubbed Maharashtra 6-1 in and Th Ranbir of Thoubal and Ng Wanglen of Imphal East finished second and third respectively in this event also.
In the 50 m race for deft and mutes, Larousang of Churachandpur finished first with a time of 8.77 seconds while Poujamang of Sadar Hills and Lainminthang of Churachandpur finished second and third.
In the above 21 years 50 m race for CPs, Krishnakumar of Special School of Disables finished first taking 11.72 seconds .
Thangsoukim of Churachandpur claimed first position in the U-15 Mentally Retarded (MR) girls' 100 m race while Osinao of BB Paul and Geetarani of Ch Ibohal finished second and third.
In the U-21 MR girls' 100 m race, Nimreilim was able to finish first with a time of 15.86 seconds.
