NYVA win 1st Bishnupur District Men's Open Volleyball Tournament title

Imphal, December 27 2024: NYVA, Naorem emerged champions of the 1st Bishnupur District Men's Open Volleyball Tournament organised by the Bishnupur District Volleyball Association under the guidance of the All Manipur Volleyball Association (AMVA) at Nachou SEWA Club's mini ground.

NYVA defeated IGO, Oinam 25-20, 25-16, 25-16 in the title clash today to seal the top honour.

NYVA's N Budhachandra and O Dinesh were named best setter and best player of the tournament as L Sunil of IGO was named best spiker.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dr Longjam Baleshwar, honorary secretary, AMVA; Khaba Khuman, president, Bishnupur District Volleyball Association; and others as presidium members.
