AKSA, NASA script identical 3-1 wins in DFA Moirang 3rd Divn League

Imphal, August 27 2022: AKSA, Kwakta and NASA, Ngangkhalawai posted identical 3-1 win over ELSA, Naransena and Ideal Club, Sunusiphai respectively in the ongoing 2nd K Budhi Memorial 3rd Division Football League organised by DFA Moirang at Kumbi playground.

In the 7th match of the 8-team tournament, AKSA started slowly to take a narrow 1-0 first half lead against ELSA thanks to a 22nd minute strike by Wahajuddin.

Arif Khan and Abdul Sahid took their turns to score in the 40th and the 42nd minute to extend the lead to 3-0 before Uttam scored a consolation goal for the Naransena team in the 59th minute of the match.

Earlier in the day, NASA sealed a similar 3-1 win with goals coming from M Sayonba (13'), H Sitaljit (15') and Goongoon (43').K Samson scored the lone goal for Ideal Club in the 20th minute of the match.
