29th Dhanamanjuri Kang tourney begins in Imphal

Imphal, November 25 2018: The 29th edition of Dhanamanjuri Invitation Kang Tournament being organised under the aegis of Manipur Kang Association kick-started today with Hailakandi Kangkhut beating Nikon Kangkhut 17-15 in the pool A opener.

The kang tournament which is featuring a total of 6 teams clubbed into two pools will be played at different venues which include Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Singjamei Kangsang and Yaiskul Kangsang.

Jiribam Kangkhut will face Cachar Kangkhut in the pool-B opener tomorrow at 9 am while Gopal Dev Kangkhut will take on Hailakandi Kangkhut in the Pool A league match at 1 pm at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

Cachar Kangkhut will face AKU Kangkhut at 1 pm in a pool B league match at Yaiskul Kangsang.
