SSU beat NAPSA by 81 runs in Plate Tournament

Imphal, July 20 2022:
SSU (Singjamei) beat NAPSA (Kha Imphal) by 81 runs via VJD method in the 6th MNCA Plate Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground on Wednesday.
SSU elected to bat first and posted 206 for 9 in 40 overs.
In the innings.
Rupachan draw as unbeaten on 52 as Dingku (34), Saikhomba Thongam (28) .
Jayananda (22) and Chungkham Gugu (22) were other key contributors for the Singjamei squad.
A rain delay forced the match to be reduced to 25 overs which proved costly for NAPSA who scored 112 for 9 in the reduced overs and lost out to the Singjamei side.
Chungkham Gugu emerged as the chief destroyer for SSU by claiming 4 wickets as Saikhomba Thongam took 2.with Dingku G, Irengbam Shyamson and Rakesh Singh chipping in with 1 each.
Earlier.
Rockey Yumnam snapped 3 wickets.
Heisnam Boney claimed 2 scalps and Tongbram Dhanakuber , Chingkhci and Bipin took 1 each for NAPSA.
Chungkham Gugu was named man of the match.
YAC will play RRCC on Thursday.
