Thokchom Romeo to accompany Indian team at Asian U20 Volleyball C'ship

Imphal, July 17 2024: Thokchom Romeo Singh, India's international volleyball referee, has been selected as accompanying referee for the Indian team by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) for the 22nd Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship, which will be held in Surabaya, Indonesia from July 23 to 30, 2024 .

Notably, Thokchom Romeo recently returned home after successfully officiating at the 22nd Asian Women's U20 Volleyball Championship 2024 (July 1-8) in Jiangmen, China.

The AVC board of administration meeting selected one accompanying referee among the names of three international or candidate referees submitted by feder-ations/associations.

All team accompanying referees will officiate at the 22nd Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship.

The AVC board picked one accompanying referee each for Australia, Bangladesh, China, Chinese Taipei, Hongkong (China), Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Qatar, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, India and Vietnam, the participating teams in the competition.
