17th Manipur State League Elite : FA hold USA to 1-1 draw, MPSC play out goalless draw with YPHU

Imphal, February 17 2025: Both the Group A matches of the 17th Manipur State League staged today at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong ended in draws.

The first match between MPSC and YPHU ended in a goalless draw despite efforts from both ends to find the difference.

Later in the day, Elite FA fought back from a goal down to play out a 1-1 draw.

USA, Khurai enjoyed a slender 1-0 first half lead with Soubam Loyangamba converting a penalty kick but Elite made their way back into the game when Thiyam Amujao made the most of a chance in the 76th minute to equalise the margin.

The scoreline remained unchanged despite efforts from both ends in the remainder of the game.

AMFA, in a memorandum, further stated that the 17th Manipur State League 2024-25 will be halted from February 20 to 23 in view of the Baby Club League Festival at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
