6th Manipur Senior Tennis Tournament : Tuleshwor clinches both 45+ and 55+ singles titles

Imphal, December 15 2024: Tuleshwor walked away as the winners of both the 45+ and 55+ singles competitions in the 6th Manipur Senior Tennis Tournament as Premjit sealed the 35+ singles title.

The tournament jointly organised by the Imphal District Tennis Association and the Association of Senior Tennis Players, Manipur under the aegis of Manipur Tennis Association concluded today at IDTA Complex, Lamphel.

The last day saw Premjit beating Suraj 6-2, 6-2 in the 35+ singles title clash before Tuleshwor beat Dilip 6-2, 6-1 for the 55+ singles crown.

In the 55+ doubles title clash staged later, the pair of Kangjamba and Prakash overcame Leishemsana and Ranjit 6-1, 7-5 as Bona and Premjit beat Ashok and Pritam 6-2, 6-1 for the 35+ doubles title later.

In the 45+ singles final staged later in the day, Tuleshwor earned his second title by defeating K Jayenta 6-2, 6-4 .
