AMFA names Jr girls' football team

Imphal, July 15 2024: All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has selected 22 players to represent Manipur in the Junior Girls' National Football Championship 2024-25 (Tier 1) to be held at Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh from August 3 to 20 .

According to AMFA general secretary L Jyotirmoy Roy, the selected players are Sh Anika of KRYPHSA, S Silpa of ESU and Th Priyadashini of YWC (L) (goalkeepers); Ng Binita and S Mathoi, both from FC Imphal, Tabitha of ESU, Sagarika of KRYPHSA, Y Monalisa of YWC (TH), Ch Alina and S Alena, both from YWC (L) (defenders); N Arina of YWC (TH), W Agnita, Th Remi and L Lakhipyari, all from YWC (L), Ph Abema of FC Imphal, Anuska Rai of Senapati FC, K Helena of ESU, L Lucy and N Olivia, both from KRYPHSA (midfielders) and L Nira and Christina, both from ESU and L Meneka of YWC (L) (forwards) .

Meanwhile, AMFA has also listed 59 players for the trial cum coaching camp for selection of Manipur Team to take part in the Sub-Junior Girls' National Football Champions 2024-25.As per a release, the players should report at the Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong by 7:30 am on July 17 with original date of birth certificate.
