KMAC, SAI RC archers dominate meet

KMAC won multiple gold medals in Indian round competitions as SAI-RC clinched the gold medals in men's compound individual and team competition in the Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior (Men & Women) State Archery Championships 2024 being held at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
On Monday, KMAC's L Rojina Devi won the gold in women's individual Olympic Indian round and later teamed up with Mellennia Thokchom and M Baby Devi to wrest the gold medal in women's team Indian round.
M Bikash Singh, Ch Bison, Ch Nelson Singh and O Inaocha Singh added another gold to the KMAC tally with victory in men's team Indian round as Shelheiba Leithanthem of LMCC made the top podium finish in men's individual Olympic Indian round.
On the other hand, SAI-RC dominated the compound events by winning gold medals in men's individual and team.
Ramakanta Sh with a score of 149 points bagged the title in compound individual, and teamed up with H Teuton Khuman and L Yohenba Singh for the gold medal in men's team by culling 223 points.
The compound women's individual gold medal was won by Ksh Manglemsana of SAC (145 points) .
