Senapati to host State Level Indigenous wrestling competition

Senapati, September 14 2022: The Senapati District Wrestling Association is planning to host State Level Indigenous wrestling competition, 2022 tentatively in the last week of October.

A team comprising of the Senapati District Wrestling Association, Senapati District Olympic Association, Manipur and delegates representing the 5 major tribes of Senapati district had reportedly met the Chief Minister on Tuesday in this regard and reportedly discussed numerous issues for development of sports in the district as well as the coming Golden Jubilee and District Olympic Games.

The Senapati District Wrestling Association also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for all his understanding and assurance to extend assistance towards organising the State level Wrestling competition.
