YAS to open regular coaching centre on November 14

Imphal, November 12 2021: The Department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Manipur is all set to launch its regular coaching centre (RCC) for football at the Langjing Achouba Artificial Football Turf on November 4 .

The RCC will be launched in the presence of chief minister N Biren Singh, sports minister Letpao Haokip and education minister S Rajen Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour, respectively, said apress release issued by the YAS department.

According to the department, the football coaching at the Langjing Achouba Artificial Turf will be spearheaded by department's top coaches who will share techniques, tips and strategies to nurture the skills of young budding footballers.

With regard to the launching of the coaching centre, YAS called up all the aspiring football players who have taken application forms to report at 7 am on the day of the event.

The department also invited all sports enthusiasts to the event to cheer up the young players who are undergoing training at the centre.
