2nd Governor's Cup Boxing Championships rescheduled

Imphal, October 12 2024: The Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA)is set to hold the 2nd Governor's Cup Boxing Championships from November 5 to 13 at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena.

The event was earlier fixed to be held from October 21 to 29 but has been deferred, MABA said in a release.

The prestigious event will feature competition across all weight categories and will be an excellent opportunity for boxers to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level, it said.

All the bonafide residents of Manipur can participate in the event, it added.

Boxer Registration Number is mandatory for participants, it said while adding that the last date of entry submission is October 30 .

Boxing units/clubs/ institutes may participate in multiple teams, it said.
