2nd Youth Football League kicks off at Kakching

Imphal, November 10 2024: The second edition of Youth Football League kicked off today at DSA Kakching ground under the aegis of District Sports Association (DSA), Kakching.

As many as 7 teams are participating in this league tournament.

The opening match saw Sena Athletes' Organisation (SAO), Kakching blank South Eastern Sporting Union (SESU), Kakching by 3-0 goals.

Sh Bekar (2'), L Uttam (8') and N Noresh (23') were on target in SAO's dominating win today.

Later in the second match, Laipham Youth Association (LYA), Wangoo sealed a slender 1-0 win over Juvenile Association (JA), Kakching in a closely fought match.

The lone goal that settled the issue was scored by A Alex in the 12th minute.

Later in the third match of the tournament, Kakching Football Club (KFC), Kakching drubbed Youth Welfare Union (YWU), Kakching by 4-0 goals.

Arkelish took centrestage in this one sided encounter scoring the opener in the 13th minute and the decisive goal in the 60th minute as Salainganba (15') and Manithoiba (26') contributed a goal apiece in between the two goals.
