CDC, Ignite, LMYVA triumph in CYLC State Basketball C'ship

Imphal, November 09 2024: CDC, Ignite and LMYVA emerged victorious in the 2nd CYLC State Open Basketball Championship 2024 on Saturday.

CDC claimed an 86-58 triumph over YOSC, establishing control with a 25-13 lead in the first quarter and extending their dominance with a 29-17 performance in the second.

Despite a slight setback with a 16-17 score in the third quarter, CDC rebounded with a commanding 16-6 in the fourth, sealing their decisive 86-58 win.

Ignite defeated Bonthers 42-34.Ignite opened strong with a 12-6 advantage in the first quarter but faltered slightly, trailing 6-13 in the second.

However, they regained momentum in the third quarter with a 12-6 score and maintained their advantage with a 12-10 finish in the fourth for their victory.

LMYVA downed St Xavier's 60-55 in their encounter.

Though they trailed in the first two quarters, 9-12 and 16-18 respectively, LMYVA rallied in the third quarter with a 14-8 score, overturning the deficit.

They consolidated their lead in the fourth quarter, outscoring their opponents 21-17 to clinch the match.
