Imphal, October 08 2015: PAMYAL, Patsoi; WSC, Ngairangbam and TWC, Langthabal advanced after defeating their respective opponents while MSC, Malom and UPC, Pishum Oinam Leikai were held to a 1-1 tie in the ongoing IW Third Division Football League Tournament, organised by the Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA), today at Malom Tulihal, Terakha Makha Ground.

In today's Group-B match, UPC held MSC 1-1 after Md Farid slammed the equaliser for UPC in the 62nd minute while MSC's goal came from K Tomba in the 51st minute.

K Anilkumar of MSC was cautioned during the match.

In another Group-B league match, S Abung hit a double as PAMYAL, Patsoi clinched a comfortable 2-0 win against SDC, Samurou.

Abung scored the winning goals in the 15th and 53rd minute.

In a Group-A league match, WSC, Ngairangbam edged past Sun Club, Mongsangei by a margin of 2 goals to one.

N Ananda's double in the 9th and 40th minute gave the winning goals to WSC while the lone goal of Sun Club was netted by H Sumanta in the 57th minute.

In a different Group-B match, YWC, Langthabal claimed a narrow 2-1 win against PCC, Mayaikoibi.

H Anand hit a brace in the 26th and 31st minute for the winning team while Zesh scored the lone goal of PCC in the 36th minute.
