Imphal, August 08 2015 : State bodybuilders have been selected for participation in the forthcoming 48th Mr Asia and 7th World Body Building Championship to represent India.

48th Mr Asia will be held in Tashkent from Oct 1 to 5 while 7th World Body Building Championship will be organised in Bangkok from November 23 to 29, 2015 .

K Rebeta Devi (Royal Gym Ningomthong) and Th Sarita Devi (Royal Fitness Centre Thoubal) will participate in the women's bodybuilding category above 49 kg and below 49 kg in the competitions respectively.

L Robert Meitei will compete in the men's category below 60 kg and M Ranjit Meitei will be participating in the Master category respectively.

The four bodybuilders have been selected through a trial selection conducted under the aegis of IBBF at Vizag from July 30 to 31.All Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association President N Ratan Singh and executive advisor S Thambal Sharma participated in the selection as judges.

Apart from the four, A Bobby, Borun Yumnam, M Robi and Momota Yumnam will also participate in both 48th Mr Asia and 7th World Body Building Championship.
