G-4 edge past RYDO 3-2 in 1st SDAU Trophy

Imphal, June 02 2018: G-4, Heirok edged out RYDO by 3-2 goals to continue its winning streak in a keenly contested league match of the ongoing SDAU Trophy 2018 which is currently underway at Tekcham Ground under the aegis of SDAU, Tekcham.

G-4 took off the game on a bright note enjoying an early 3-0 lead through a hattrick (4', 9', 13') from Biju who has been in fine form but RYDO returned into the game in the latter part to reduce the lead by just 1 goal at the end.

Premananda of RYDA scored the first goal for his team in the 22nd minute while the second goal came from the feet of Ramanda in the 47th minute.

RYDO tried hard to restore parity but G-4 made no mistake in thwarting further moves from the rivals to go home with a 3-2 win.

Bijender of RYDO was yellow carded for his rash challenge in the 51st minute.
