AMBBA announces State team for Bodybuilding Nationals

Imphal, December 30 2024: The All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) has announced the names of athletes and officials who will be representing Manipur at the 16th Senior National Bodybuilding Championship 2025 to be hosted by Karnataka from January 14 to 16, 2025 at Belagavi.

The male bodybuilders who made it to the State team are Kh Amir Hussain (55 kg) of Wild Gym, Hatta; Laishram Naresh (60 kg) of Perfect Fitness Gym, Ningthoukhong; Laishram Neta (60 kg) of UGM, Naoremthong; Haobijam Norjit (65 kg) of UGM, Bishnupur; Laishram Okendro (70 kg) of MPSC; Bachaspatimayum Bipin (70 kg) of AMBBA; Leiphrakpam Bankimchandra (75 kg) of AMBBA; Rajkumar Sanathoi (80 kg) of Sangai Gym, Khagempalli; Wangkheirakpam Priyobarta (85 kg) of Liangtuang Kamei Foundation; Hillari Pamei (85 kg) of X-TREME Fitness, Mantripukhri; Rajkumar Mojesh (90 kg) of Sangai Gym; and Melson Nongmeikapam (90+ kg) of Royal Gym, Ningomthong.

Thokcom Sanjeeta of World Gym, Yaiskul is the only woman who will be competing in the bodybuilding competition while Surbanita Mutum and Ambika Thoudam of AM/PM Gym, Bishnupur will be competing in the women's model physique event.

N Ratan Singh will be managing the team while RK Manisana and Janshi Maisnam have been named as men's and women's squads respectively.
