MPSC confirm semi-final ticket in 2nd State Level Volleyball tourney

Imphal, October 26 2019: Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC) sealed second win and guaranteed themselves a place in the semi-final of the 2nd Senior State Level Men's Volleyball tournament being organised at Hiyanglam Hiranmei under the supervision of All Manipur Volleyball Association.

MPSC which got the better of KYLSC, Kachingkhul in their opening group A fixture yesterday, overcame YPA, Hiranmei in straight set today.

It was not easy going for MPSC as YPA resisted from early set on but managed to come out 25-22, 25-18, 26-24 winners to ensure their place in the last four.

Meanwhile in another group A fixture, KYLSC bounce back from first set snub to carve out a 3-2 (22-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-21, 16-14) victory against MIKHYA, Mayang Imphal.

The Group B league match between IGO, Oinam and TRYVC, Ukhrul was halted due to rain.
