Imphal, April 26 2015 : TVFSA, Tabungkhok and UVSA Lilong Chajing registered comfortable wins in the league match of the 17th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament being played under the supervision of Manipur Veteran Football Association (MVFA) at Mapal Kangjeibung on Sunday.

In the first match, TVFSA strikes two goals in the first half against VSAC Churachandpur to win the match in 2-0 score line.

TVFSA open the account in the 14th min of the match through Rabichandra.

VSAC players tried to reduced the margin but the agile defenders of TVFSA did not give any opportunities.

While VSAC were searching for the elusive goal, TVFSA compounded the dilemma by scoring a goal in the 34th min and take the breather with two-goal advantage.

After the change of ends, VSAC keep on searching for the goal by TVFSA defended the advantage till end to walk over with the match.

UVSA Lilong Chajing thrashed VSAN Nambul Mapa 6-0 in the second match.

VSAN could not match the skill of UVSA and keep on liking goals at regular intervals.

Th Jayanta scored three goals in 3rd; 24th and 57th min.

S Gandhi contributed two goals in 14th and 28th min while S Sagar join the party with a goal in 44th min and collectively UVSA thumped in six goals to win the match.
