XII Jadonang Memorial Football : KMTYC, CRYC complete quarter final line up

Imphal, November 25 2018: KMTYC, Konthoujam Maning saw off CYDA, Chingkhulong 3-1 while CRYC, Chingmeirong edged put NYC, Namthanlong 3-2 today to complete the quarter final line up of the ongoing XII Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament 2018 organised by Zeliangrong Football Association at THAU Sports complex.

The first pre-quarter final match of the day saw Panmei Gideon hit two goals to give KMTYC, Konthoujam Maning a convincing 3-1 win over CYDA, Chingkhulong.

After a cautious start from both teams, Hopeson Panmei of CYDA found the breakthrough in the 26th minute only to be equalised by Tichuilung R Panmei two minutes latter.

Panmei Gideon broke the deadlock with a well taken shot in the 43rd minute before striking the decisive goal during the stoppage time (80+3) .

In the last pre-quarter final clash of the tournament, R Ramkhon Chawang scored twice to hand CRYC a hard fought 3-2 win over NYC and a place in the quarter final.

Rambo Palmei put NYC, Namthanlong ahead with a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute but R Ramkhon of CRYC came up with the equaliser in the 18th minute.

Gaisingam Dangmei managed a goal in the 28th minute to help NYC regain the lead but M A S of CYRC restored parity in the 31st minute before R Ramkhon Chawang hit the winner in the 57th minute.

LKCC, Langthabal Khoupum will face RYC, Ragailong in the first quarter final match tomorrow at 7.30 am while the second quarter final match will be played between SKYC, Sawombung and DFC, Duigaipangjang at 1.30 pm at the same venue.
