All Manipur Shooting Competition : L Tulika tops sub-youth women's S-66 10 m rifle championship

Imphal, August 25 2024: Loktongbam Tulika of Blossom School Indoor Shooting Centre won gold medal in the sub-youth women's S-66 10 m rifle championship of the ongoing 32nd All Manipur Shooting Competition 2024 .

Tulika topped the chart collecting as many as 364 points and collected the gold medal as Sweety Ningthemcha of IW District Rifle Association gathered 362 points to finish with the silver and Khongbantabam Sonika scored 360 points to bag the bronze.

Chetananda Rajkumar of IW District Rifle Association grabbed the sub-youth men's S-65 10 m rifle championship gold scoring 367 points as Dhanaraj Thokchom of Mainpur Rifle Association and Thongam Harison settled for the silver and bronze medals with 365 and 363 points respectively.

Laishram Basanta IW District Rifle Association in the meantime won the S-25 10 m rifle championship gold for youth men scoring highest 358 points as Vedaant Nongthombam of the same district unit picked the silver medal with 353 points.

Thoungamba finished third with 316 points but missed out on the bronze medal.

Ngashepam Sonia Devi of IW District Rifle Association also stretched the district's medal tally winning gold medals in the S-24 10 m rifle championship for junior women scoring highest 379 points and S-21 10 m rifle championship scoring 379 points.

Thokchom Telheiba of IW meanwhile topped both the S-22 10 m rifle championship and S-19 10 rifle championship to earn two gold medals.

K Asish Sharma of IW District Rifle Association also topped the S-10 50m rifle three position championship for senior men and S-01 10 m 50 m rifle prone championship for senior men scoring 525 and 559 points respectively to win gold medals.

Davidson Khumbongmayum of Blossom School Indoor Shooting Centre, Oinam Labish of NSU and Nongmaithem Jubaraj in the meantime secured top three places in the S-13 small bore free rifle three position championship for junior men.

They however missed the medal mark.
