Imphal, February 22 2015: PHAM (B), All Moirang Hockey Union and Hockey Union (A) emerged victorious in Sunday encounters at the Yumnam Rasmani Memorial Men's 7-a-side Hockey Tournament being organised by YCCIC, Kontha Ahallup at Ibudhou Marjing Ground under the aegis of Manipur Hockey.

In the first ground match, PHAM (B) humbled host YCCIC (B) 12-2 after leading 5-1 at half time.

The stand out player for the winners was H Papunao who scored five goals.

Compatriots K Deveshor slammed three goals while Kh Rabikanta scored a brace.

W Bipin and Ksh Wangamba contributed one goal each for PHAM (B).

On the other hand, the goals for the home side were scored by L Uttam, and N Joykumar.

AMHA overcame SEYO (B) 3-1 in the second match.

M Amarjit provided AMHA the lead while teammate Ph Biju made it 2-1 after M Arunkumar had found the equalizer for SEYO.

The first half ended at the same scoreline.

Ph Biju of AMHA then rounded off the score with his team's third goal early second half.

On the other hand HU (A) pumped in three goals in the second half after leading 2-1 before the change of sides to beat YCCIC (A) 5-1.Kh Rinen scored both first half goals for the winners and added another midway into the second half to complete his hattrick.

His teammates L Herojit and M Sashikumar also succeeded in breaching the host's defense in the second half.

Y Joychand scored the solitary goal for YCCIC (A) near the half-hour mark.
