Joyshing Monsang appointed chairman of Football Development & Grassroots Programme

In a development that can be hailed as a way forward and a symbol of fresh hope and dynamic blood in the new setup of the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA), Thumli Joyshing Monsang of Chandel has been appointed chairman of Football Development and Grassroots Programme by AMFA.
The 27-year-old, whose reputation grew after becoming the youngest vice-president of AMFA in the recently held AMFA election, has been key in outsourcing and revamping Chandel District Football and his initiatives in the field of football development in Manipur in general and Chandel District has not gone unnoticed.
With the big assignment he got on being appointed head of Football Development and Grassroots Programme, the young dynamic leader expressed optimism in bringing fast change of development in youth football while also reiterating his hope of nurturing young footballers of the State to become professionals.
Until his election as Vice-President of AMFA, the dynamic leader hold license for AIFF-Category 2 Refereeing Grade while much of his credits for establishing himself as a future pillar for State's football set-up goes down to his effort in brining about football development in Chandel and his commitment in youth football development for the State as a whole.
