Ukhrul, January 19 2022: 35 AR Somsai, Ukhrul has provided sport items and tentage store for upcoming Veikhang Katamnao Long Sports meet 2022 to be held in Choithar village as a part of humanitarian services.

According to a report, 35 AR has provided volleyball, a pair of footballs, volleyball nets, kanats, tarpaulin and tents for the sports meet.

The headman of Choithar village expressed profound gratitude to the Commandant 35 AR, Somsai Battalion and Ukhrul town post commander Rahul Chawla for the generous contribution considering the immediate need of the student community who will be organising the sporting event.

He further mentioned that the VKL Sports meet hosted by Choithar Village Students' Union would be held from January 10 to 25 .
