Imphal, October 18 2019: MPSC and ESU, Wangkhei managed 2-1 wins against their respective rivals in the 10th AMFA Senior Women's Football League Tournament held at Artificial Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak.

In the 5th match of the tournament, MPSC downed KRYPHSA, Naoremthong 2-1 as Ng Bala took the centre stage scoring a goal each half.

KRYPHSA and MPSC were evenly poised right from the beginning until Ng Bala found the breakthrough during the additional time of the first half (40+2') converting a fine chance.

MPSC cemented their lead with Ng Bala scoring her second in the 46th minute before the team concentrated more in defending their lead as KRYPHSA looked to push forward with a series of offences to reduce the margin.

N Ratanbala gave the Naoremthong team some fresh hope cutting the gap by 1 goal in the 70th minute but failed drew level despite their frenetic efforts forged latter on.

Meanwhile the second match of the tournament witnessed ESU overcome YWC-Langthabal late charge to win 2-1.After playing a goalless draw in the first half, ESU found the lead in the 54th minute thanks to N Priyanka only to be equalised by H Daya of YWC in the 68th minute.

Prameshori then scored in the 75th minute to help ESU regain the lead walk away with all three points as scoreline remained undisturbed till the final whistle.
