IW 3rd Divn League : SYSC blank SUN 2-0, YAC play out 1-1 draw with ESA

Imphal, November 14 2019: YAC, Yurembam played out 1-1 draw with ESA, Mayang Imphal while SYSC, Sangaithel blanked SUN-C, Mongshangei 2-0 in the ongoing 3rd Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League-2019 being organised under the auspices of Imphal West District Football Association at KYC ground, Khurkhul today.

In the first match, even though YAC surged ahead with one goal lead two minutes into the match through N Naocha, ESA did not take much time to equalise the goal in the 13th minute through Hemochandra.

At the end of the first half, the score read 1-1 as both the team failed to score in their given time.

After the changeover, both the team could not produce that one winning goal that led to 1-1 draw at end of the regulation time.

In the second match, SYSC Sangaithel scored two goals in the 2nd half to register a convincing win over SUN-C after goalless 1st half.

The match started on a cautious note with both the team playing calculated move without adding any extra pressure to the opponents which has resulted in a goalless first half.

However, in the 2nd half SYSC, Sangaithel pressed hard on the accelerator which has resulted in scoring a goal in the 31st minute through N Dhanachandra while Bolish extended the lead to 2-0 in the (60+1)th minute to take home the match comfortably.
