Hanif Shah Football : ASSA drub RCD0 6-2, SVAFT hold NFC to 2-2 draw

Thoubal, January 13 2019: ASSA, Sangaiyumpham trounced RDCO, Borayangbi 6-2 while SVAFT, Sora annd NFC, Ningthounai played out a 2-2 draw in group C league matches of the 2nd Hanif Shah State Level Manipur Muslim Football Tournament, 2019 staged today at Singa playground, Yairipok.

The first Group C league match of the day saw ASSA dominate the game right from the beginning and Md Asif was unstoppable as he found the net thrice (12', 19', 42') .

Md Samir Khan (17'), Md Saroj Khan (29') scored one goal each to extend the lead while Md Ajmir Sarif rounded off the scoring in the 65th minute of the match.

Sarif (32') and Mujam (50') scored for the Borayangbi side to make it 2-6 at the end.

Whereas in the second match of the day, SVAFT enjoyed a 2-0 lead in the first half but Md Anash Khan scored twice in the second half to help NFC, Ningthounai salvage a point.

Md Nassir Hussain hit the opener for SVAFT in the 8th minute of the match while Md Dawad doubled the lead in the 18th minute of the match to make it 2-0 at the break.

NFC who were struggling hard in the first half picked up the page in the second half and it was in the 48th minute that Md Anash Khan found the net'to reduce the gap.

Surprise by the goal SVAFT tightened up the defence but Md Anash Khan was at it again in the 61st minute to settle the game in a 2-2 draw.
