Changranching demolish Khoriibung 7-0 in DC Chandel Trophy

Imphal, November 12 2021: Changranching drubbed Khoriibung 7-0 as RB Robert scored 5 goals today in the 6th match of the ongoing DC Chandel Trophy Football Tournament 2021 at Mini Sports Complex Chandel.

DB Robert handed Changranching the lead in the 35th minute after the two sides started cautiously and went to pump in another 4 goals (44', 55', 76', 79') in the second half to help his team complete the 7-0 rout of Khoriibung.

The other goals came from SK Shetnoi (53') and SK Morningson (74').The day also saw Western Soldong FC beat Phunchung YC 2-1; Aimol Chingnunghut SA edge past Heibunglok YCC 3-2 and Panchai SC edge Penaching YDC 2-1 .

Damnahring scored the only goal for Phunchung YC in the 46th minute before Ws Apanson (58') and RD Ajule (69') set up the 2-1 comeback win for Western Soldong FC.

Meanwhile, Hypia Jajo scored (22', 80') for Heibunglok YC while Lunkhosei (6'), Jawgkhongam (15') and Herochung (29') scored for Aimol Chingnunghut SA.

Royngam (56', 77') then earned Panchai SC a 2-1 win over Penaching YDC.
