District Level Inter Youth Club Sports Meet 2019 begins

Thoubal, December 11 2019: Nehru Yuva Kendra Thoubal in association with DLCYC Athokpam kicked off a three day District Level Inter Youth Club Sports Meet 2019 at Heikreng Makhong Ground, Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai today.

Ch Basanta Singh, District Programme Manager, District Health Society, Thoubal, L Romendro Singh, president, DLCYC Athokpam and K Lokendro Singh, member District Advisory Committee on Youth Program, NYK Thoubal attended the inaugural ceremony as presidium members.

The sports meet will see youth clubs compete in Football, Tug of War, Kho Kho, Athletics, Cycle Cross Country Race, Blind Hitting etc.

The sports meet is being organised to groom the youth with discipline and encourage them to take active part in games and sports, said Ch Basanta.

During a Kho Kho match today, SYSCA, Salungpham beat PKDC Athokpam 29-9 .
