AMFA names team officials for 38th National Games

Imphal, January 09 2025: The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has named the officials for both the senior men and women's teams for the 38th National Games 2025 to be hosted by Uttarakhand.

The officials named for the men's team include Thangjam Ibomtombi as manager, Kamei Joy Rongmei as head coach, Hidam Premkumar as assistant coach and Nandeibam Jina as physiotherapist.

The officials for the women's team in the meantime include Oinam Bembem as manager, Moirangthem Deben as head coach, Moirangthem Mandakini as assistant coach, Keisham Narayan as GK coach and Nazmin Pathan as physiotherapist.

25 called up for the 2nd phase men's football trial AMFA has also called up as many as 25 players for the second trial for preparation of the State men's team for the said games.

The players as listed for the trial include-

Goalkeepers : Soibam Priyojit of AMFA, Sagolshem Thomas of ASUFII FA and Th Rocky of SU;

Defenders : N Kabiraj of SSU, L Dhananjoy of NESU, S Amitkumar of UPAA, T Bungson of CFA, Y Surchandra of UPAA, RK Robin of KLASA FC, P Linthoi of AMFA, and Goutam of RAU;

Midfielders : L Sangkar of AMFA, H Shital of AMFA, P Taibangnganba of Milan FA, Gaipulan of KLASA FC, H Bijio of FC Raengdai, S Rajdhan of AMFA, L Langamba of AMFA, K Lamnganba of YPHU, M Arif of KIYC and Zahir Khan of Classic FA;

Forwards : S Sagar of FC Raengdai, Bangkim of TRAU, Aimso Chithung of RAHEE UC and Sharfaroz of ABA .
