MU Inter College Basketball tournaments preponed

Imphal, October 08 2024: The commencement of Haobam Tomba Memorial Manipur University Inter College Men's Basketball Tournament 2024-25 and Haobam Anandi Memorial Manipur University Inter College Women's Basketball Tournament 2024-25 have been preponed to an earlier date.

The tournaments which were earlier scheduled to be hosted from October 25 by Thoubal College under the auspices of the Manipur University Sports Committee was rescheduled to commence from October 16 in view of the East Zone Inter University Basketball (M) Tournament 2024-25 to be hosted by Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar from November 13-16 .

The last date of entry submission (fee : Rs 3,000) is October 14 till 1 pm and the managers meeting will be held the same day later from 1.30 at the Department of Sports, Manipur University, said the organising secretary in a memorandum.

Form and other details can be had from Thoubal College and the Department of Sports, MU, Canchipur, it added while inviting intending colleges or institutions affiliated to MU to take part in the tournaments.
